The index is sorted by time of day rather than topic. Written before noon: bench notes and bus rides. Written at the reservoir: wind, water, horizontal reset. Written after the buses thin out: distant sirens and corridor light.
I do not delete old entries when I disagree with them. They show how a view matures — or how a neighbourhood keeps sounding the same from far away.

Old titles stay even when I disagree with them — they record how Bedok sounded from the eighth floor at a particular season.
If a note feels too polished, I move it back to the sill and trim a sentence. Margin space is not decoration; it is breathing room.
